So you're looking for a good Doctor Who episode? Here's a few to consider:

1st, 2nd and 3rd Doctors: "The Three Doctors"
3rd Doctor: "Invasion of the Dinosaurs"
4th Doctor: "The Key to Time" series (6 episodes); "The Ark in Space"
5th Doctor: "The Black Guardian" trilogy
6th Doctor: "Mark of the Rani"
7th Doctor: "Paradise Towers"; "The Curse of Fenric"

Just saw "Day of the Daleks" myself last week. Great fun. And we have a bunch of restored 2nd Doctor episodes coming up. I think these were some of the lost ones.
Happy viewing! -- Liz

This makes me think of a website called "Jing" - http://www.jingproject.com/ I learned about it in a reference class I had last semester. It provides free, easy to use software (with tutorials on the website to get you up to speed) on capturing great screen shots (goes way beyond doing a basic Ctrl + Print Screen).

Michael, you help highlight a fact of life in corporate organizations. The need to establish how much your department of line contributes to the organization and its goals. Without some effective communication stragegy, the budget managers may sharpen the axe at a time when the changes in libraries require guidance and our own library shepards.

I also blogged about Google Scholar this week and tried a few searches for case law. I found an interesting and informative HeinOnline blog entry listing the problems with Google Scholar and why legal researchers should begin their research on Hein. Hein’s main point is that a search for cases on Google Scholar will be incomplete. While Hein presents a valid argument, it is very true that Google Scholar is a fast and inexpensive way to obtain at least some information about cases before heading elsewhere to a subscription database.

Michael, I also enjoyed the "Moving the Library" article , because it brought my attention to a part of managing a library that I had not even thought of. The article really emphasized the fact that moving to a new space is something that requires a lot of attention to detail and a lot of planning. The thought of moving, and then, re-shelving an entire collection of books seems very daunting. I also thought it was interesting that the author recommended hiring specialized movers that are familiar with library classification systems, mostly because I was not even aware that there were movers who specialized in libraries.
